Walk-about is an artwork conceived by Tom Carr that consists of an invitation for one to take a walk without a predetermined destination or period of time, simply wondering.

If Marcel Duchamp said that the artwork appears between the art object and the viewer, in this case, it is very near the observer, as he or she is the only one that knows what the walk was like.  Here on the walk-about Webpage one can see three testimonies in the form of images that the stroller has taken.

Anyone can be part of this artwork.  The only thing that is asked of you is to take three pictures of some images that stood out to you and send them to me and I will place them on the walk-about Webpage together with your name or fictitious name, if you prefer, and the area where the walk-about took place.

You are invited to send three pictures, name and place to: tomcarr1@me.com

hoping you participate.
